HISTORY

From the USA comes Xentrifuge, a brutal assault of harsh industrial and dark electro, from Chris X and Lisa Hellen. The sound blends industrial, noise, and a touch of heavy guitar.

Chris X started Xentrifuge in 2005. In 2007, Light Extinguished came out on Noitekk/Black Rain Media, Gravitator, and COP Int. It peaked at number six on the DAC, and the band built a loyal international following. In 2009 the second album, Converting Infinity, followed.

Chris worked with a variety of live artists until 2012, when Lisa Hellen became a permanent part of the band. In 2014 they returned with singles, remixes, and live shows. The 2016 single Machine Winter became a fan favorite, and a final version appears on Desensitized Parallels, released on Cleopatra Records.

In A Shattered Mirror came out in 2021, also on Cleopatra Records. Chris and Lisa spent well over a year on it. It includes a cover of Nirvana's Negative Creep. In 2022 they started writing original scores for YouTube shows and trailers, including Epic Exploration. In early 2023 they released the single Taste of Your Sin (T.O.Y.S.).

There are four full-length albums, plus remixes and collaborations.
